Reiwa Engine introduces itself to Unicredit Start Lab investors

Sandstorm is a primate robot. Not only because it is the first robot in the world to fully automate the cleaning of photovoltaic panels exceeding all existing limits, but also because it is the first project of a Sicilian start-up to be chosen to participate in the Start Lab of Unicredit, a great showcase for Italian innovators who want to find investors all over the world. No Sicilian start-up had ever arrived among the top ten selected by Unicredit’s acceleration program during its 11 years of activity.

The potential of Unicredit’s Start Lab

Sandstorm is already prepared to be placed on the market, just missing the phase of industrialization for which Reiwa Engine now seeks partners (industrial and financial). For this reason, the Sicilian start-up will be presented on 1 July in front of the Clean Tech commission of the Unicredit Start Lab, the acceleration program created in 2009 to support business projects of young innovative entrepreneurs: Reiwa Engine is the only and the first Sicilian start-up to appear in front of a parterre of investors representing multinationals in the energy sector and beyond. Reiwa Engine was selected along with nine other finalists from 592 start-up projects throughout Italy.

The ten finalist start-ups will have the opportunity to participate in meetings dedicated to the development of business plans for their new and revolutionary technologies, the creation of networks and the comparison with mentors for the transfer of skills. The Sicily of innovation crosses fingers with Reiwa Engine.
